In a pivotal gathering at the Ruler’s Office, Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, the Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, convened the Executive Council, joined by Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, the Deputy Ruler and Deputy Chairman of the Council. The report revealed impressive statistics—over 16,000 seniors have already taken advantage of this important health insurance service for dental care since its inception, showcasing the initiative’s profound impact on the community.

The Council also made a landmark decision regarding the conditional release of convicts in Sharjah. According to this new ruling, convicts may be eligible for release with restrictions after serving three-quarters of their sentences. For those facing life imprisonment, a release could be considered after a minimum of 20 years served, pending the final decision of the Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police.
