Nikki Glaser Slams Plastic Surgery and Ozempic Trend: Here’s Why!
The 2025 Golden Globes kicked off in spectacular fashion, and none other than the brilliant Nikki Glaser took center stage as the first-ever solo female host of the prestigious event.
As she stepped into the spotlight on January 5, her opening line sent shockwaves through the star-studded audience: “Good evening, and welcome to Ozempic’s biggest night!” With that, she dove right into the prevailing buzz surrounding Hollywood’s latest obsession.
In a night filled with laughter, Nikki, who was also nominated for her standup special Some Day You’ll Die, cheekily poked fun at celebrities who undergo plastic surgery, only to mask their transformations with vague explanations. “I love where you put your cheekbones,” she quipped, eliciting roars of laughter. “I, too, drink a lot of water. I don’t judge; I’m in on it now!”
At 40, Nikki humorously added, “I love how meditating removes your eyelids, so convenient!” It’s clear she isn’t shy about keeping it real in an industry often obsessed with appearances. In fact, she had even pushed back her own plans for plastic surgery after getting the call to host the Globes.
Explaining this decision, she shared, “When it’s two agents calling with good news, you know it’s good news. They said, ‘Is there any way you could push your surgery to the second week of January?'”
As the evening progressed, Nikki didn’t shy away from taking jabs at everyone from Nicole Kidman to Ben Affleck. However, she deliberately steered clear of one hot-button issue—the drama involving Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni. She explained, “I think it’s such a sensitive topic right now that even mentioning it could put me on the wrong side, and I really don’t want that.”
In her own words, she expressed frustration at even knowing Baldoni’s name, adding, “I don’t need to say it anymore!”
