Join Us on the Path to a Healthier Future: The 2025 UN High-Level Meeting on NCDs
Background
Get ready for a groundbreaking event! The World Health Organization (WHO) is gearing up for its inaugural global oral health meeting, a pivotal gathering aimed at paving the way to universal health coverage (UHC) for oral health by 2030. Mark your calendars for a transformative experience in vibrant Bangkok, Thailand, from November 26 to November 29, 2024.
Our mission? To reignite the commitment of Member States to the 2021 resolution on oral health and to turbocharge our efforts in preventing and controlling noncommunicable diseases (NCDs), with a keen focus on oral health. This meeting is not just an event; it’s a crucial step toward ensuring that everyone enjoys the benefits of UHC by 2030. Plus, it’s a vital precursor to the 4th UN High-Level Meeting on NCDs in 2025.
Over three engaging days, experts from WHO, national health leads, and global stakeholders will come together for technical discussions, culminating in a high-level segment featuring health ministers and leaders. Together, we’ll reaffirm our shared commitment to the Global Oral Health Action Plan 2023–2030 and our national roadmaps for oral health. Expect vibrant side events that will enrich our discussions!
We anticipate around 400 passionate participants, all united for a cause that impacts us all.
