Meghan Trainor’s Post-Baby Confidence Boost: Her Planned Plastic Surgery!
Meghan Trainor is taking a bold step toward self-empowerment! The talented singer-songwriter, famous for her infectious hit “All About That Bass,” just shared that she’s embracing plastic surgery to reclaim her confidence after welcoming two beautiful sons into the world.
In a heartfelt episode of her podcast, Workin’ on Upgrades, Trainor opened up about her journey, chatting with her brother Ryan and husband Daryl Sabara. With a mix of humor and honesty, she revealed her decision to undergo a breast augmentation due to the changes her body has experienced since becoming a mom.
“I’m getting a boob job! My mommy boobies were full of milk and now they’re empty!” she exclaimed. With candid enthusiasm, she discussed the ups and downs of her body transformation, saying, “They got big, they got small, they got big, they got small. After losing some weight, let’s just say they’re not what they used to be!”
The star, who is a proud mom to Riley, three, and Barry, one, emphasized that this change isn’t just cosmetic—it’s about feeling fabulous when she hits the stage. “As I try on all these stunning outfits for my upcoming tour, it’s tough to find supportive bras that don’t ruin the look!” she shared, adding a relatable touch to the pressures of performance.

Her brother chimed in with a knowing laugh, “Those can’t be comfortable!” to which Trainor wholeheartedly agreed, sharing the discomfort of her current bras. “No, and they squeeze my sides!”
This isn’t just a spur-of-the-moment decision; Trainor has been dreaming of this surgery since she was a teenager. “I’ve wanted this my whole life,” she shared. However, she clarified, “I’m just getting a lift—maybe a little implant, just to remind them, ‘Hey, we’re still here!’”
Married to the charismatic Daryl Sabara since 2018, Trainor has embraced motherhood fiercely. The couple welcomed Riley through a C-section in February 2021 and celebrated the arrival of their second son, Barry, in July 2023.

This isn’t the first time the pop sensation has shared her thoughts on body image. After welcoming her first child, she candidly discussed her struggles with self-love, acknowledging the physical changes that followed childbirth.
“I’m covered in scars and stretch marks in new places I didn’t know I could have them,” she reflected on her journey. “Some things may never fade, and I’m learning to embrace that.”
In a previous interview, she opened up about the challenges of rediscovering her confidence after giving birth. “My therapist suggested I spend five minutes a day in front of the mirror, naked, just looking at myself,” she recalled. “It was the hardest thing I’ve ever done, but by day three, I started to appreciate what I saw and believe in it.”
Trainor concluded with a powerful realization: “You start to see how incredible it is that I created a human being. I made those eyelashes!”
