Born on August 5, 1940, in Lausanne, Switzerland, Jocelyn’s early life was relatively modest, with little known about her childhood in a middle-class family. She began dating Swiss film producer Cyril Piguet at just 17, which marked the start of her glamorous journey.

Her life intertwined with that of notable figures in film and art, including a serious relationship with filmmaker Sergio Gobbi, which allowed her to discover the beauty of Africa—a continent she grew to love deeply.

In 1977, while on an adventurous safari in Kenya, she was introduced to her future husband, Alec Wildenstein, by Saudi arms dealer Adnan Khashoggi, setting the stage for a life filled with luxury and drama.

Jocelyn’s transformation through surgery, which she reportedly underwent to appeal to her husband’s tastes, has been a subject of much fascination and critique.

Beyond her striking appearance, she was a skilled hunter and pilot, and she held a deep appreciation for art and exquisite decor.
