Mark your calendars! The much-anticipated Gift of Dentistry is back and better than ever on Friday, December 6, 2024. In our community, affordable dental care is in high demand, and many folks are unable to seek out necessary treatments due to financial constraints. While the Hearts and Hands Clinic operates a year-round no-cost dental service, their capacity is limited. Thanks to the Gift of Dentistry, hundreds of patients receive the care they need.

In 2023 alone, this heartwarming initiative transformed the lives of over 100 individuals, providing essential dental services. This year, we’re aiming even higher!

Join us at Premier Dental Wellness, located at 1130 Brampton Avenue in Statesboro, right next to McAlister’s Deli. If you’re 18 or older and in urgent need of dental assistance, we’re here for you!

This year, Dr. Marz, along with his dedicated team including Dr. Christian Walker, has teamed up with Dr. Patel, Dr. Sellers, and Dr. Uribe from East Georgia Oral Surgery to maximize the number of lives we touch through quality dental care.

Best of all, there’s absolutely no charge for treatment! Each participant will receive one cleaning, filling, or extraction on a first-come, first-served basis. Dr. Marz urges everyone in need to arrive early, as we can only guarantee service for the first 60 individuals—though we hope to assist even more!

“We are thrilled to host the Gift of Dentistry again this year. Our team truly cherishes this event and the chance to help those in need. Too many people in our community endure pain due to unaffordable dental care. We hope to bring smiles back just in time for the holidays!” said Dr. Suketu Patel from the East Georgia Center for Oral & Facial Surgery.

How It Works

Patients can start arriving at 8:00 a.m. for triage. Those requiring extractions will be referred to the East Georgia Center for Oral and Facial Surgery. Meanwhile, cleanings, fillings, and x-rays will be conducted at Dr. Marz’s office. Generous volunteers from Premier Dental Wellness, East Georgia Oral Surgery, Hearts and Hands Clinic, OTC, and others are donating their time and services, bringing a staggering value of over $10,000 in FREE dental care to our community.

Help us spread the word, and remember to arrive at Premier Dental Wellness no later than 8 a.m. on Friday, December 6th. We will stop taking patients at noon.

Community Impact

Dr. Marz has a profound understanding of the dental care needs within our community, and this will mark his sixth year leading this noble effort.

“I’ve been deeply moved by the generosity of this community in countless ways. My patients and our neighbors have shown me unwavering support, and I wanted to give back in a meaningful way. This ‘gift’ is my way of saying thank you,” shared Dr. Marz.

Outside of his practice, Dr. Marz is actively involved in the Statesboro Kiwanis Club, sits on the Bulloch County Animal Shelter Advisory Board, and, as a local pilot, he flies pets from kill shelters to new homes through Pilots and Paws Flights.
