In our community, the need for affordable dental care is more pressing than ever. Many individuals face challenges when it comes to accessing even the most basic dental services. While the Hearts and Hands Clinic works tirelessly year-round to provide no-cost dental care, they can only assist a limited number of patients. That’s where A Gift of Dentistry steps in, transforming lives and smiles!

Last year, this impactful event provided dental care services to over 100 grateful patients, and we’re gearing up for an even bigger impact in 2024!

Join us at Premier Dental Wellness, located at 1130 Brampton Avenue in Statesboro, right next to McAlister’s Deli. This is open to anyone aged 18 and up who genuinely needs dental assistance.

Continuing the spirit of collaboration, Dr. Marz and his skilled associate Dr. Christian Walker are teaming up with Dr. Patel, Dr. Sellers, and Dr. Uribe from East Georgia Oral Surgery to extend their outreach and provide essential dental care to even more individuals.

No treatment will come with a price tag! Each participant is eligible for one cleaning, one filling, or one extraction on a first-come, first-served basis. Dr. Marz encourages those in need to arrive early—only the first 60 attendees are guaranteed service, though they hope to assist even more!

“We’re thrilled to unite for A Gift of Dentistry once again this year. Our dedicated doctors and staff truly look forward to this event, relishing the chance to help those in need. Many community members suffer from dental pain simply because they can’t afford treatment. We aim to bring smiles and relief just in time for the holidays,” shared Dr. Suketu Patel from East Georgia Center for Oral & Facial Surgery.

How It Works

Starting at 8:00 a.m., Dr. Marz and his team of volunteers will begin triaging patients. Those in need of extractions will be referred to the East Georgia Center for Oral and Facial Surgery. Cleanings, fillings, and x-rays will be conducted right at Dr. Marz’s office. With the support of Premier Dental Wellness, East Georgia Oral Surgery, Hearts and Hands Clinic, OTC, and additional volunteers, this community giving event could surpass $10,000 in FREE dental care!

Spread the word and don’t forget—arrive at Premier Dental Wellness by 8 a.m. on Friday, December 6th. The line will be cut off at noon!

A Commitment to Community

Recognizing the pressing need for dental care, Dr. Marz has passionately led this effort for six years running.

“I’ve been deeply moved by the generosity of our community. The unwavering support from my patients, friends, and neighbors inspires me to give back. This ‘gift’ to the community is a small way to express my gratitude,” stated Dr. Marz.

Dr. Marz is not just a dentist; he’s a pillar of the community, actively involved in the Statesboro Kiwanis Club, the Bulloch County Animal Shelter Advisory Board, and even flying pets in need of homes through Pilots and Paws Flights.
