Music sensation Meghan Trainor is opening up about her journey to reclaim her confidence after childbirth, revealing plans for plastic surgery. In the latest episode of her podcast, Workin’ on Upgrades, she candidly shared her thoughts on cosmetic enhancements.

The 30-year-old star of “All About That Bass” discussed her decision to undergo a breast augmentation. After welcoming her two sons, Trainor noticed significant changes in her body, which prompted her choice. “I’m getting a boob job because my mommy boobies were full of milk and now they’re empty,” she confessed, expressing her frustration with the physical changes she experienced.

She elaborated, “They got big, they got small, they got big, they got small. I’ve lost some weight and I have, like, saggy sacks as boobs.” This honesty highlights the challenges many women face post-pregnancy, and Trainor is not shying away from sharing her experience.

As she prepares for upcoming performances, the pop star emphasized how crucial it is for her to feel confident in her appearance. “Trying on all these amazing outfits for tour is tough,” she admitted. “I have to wear the most supportive bras, which can really impact the look of the outfit.”

Her brother chimed in, “Those can’t be comfortable,” to which Trainor agreed, adding, “No, and they squeeze my sides.” The pop star has openly expressed her desire for the procedure since she was just 16, saying, “I have wanted this my whole life.” She’s aiming for a subtle enhancement, stating, “I’m just getting a lift. Maybe a little implant just so they’re like, ‘We are boobs,’ because right now, they are not.”

Married to Daryl Sabara since 2018, Trainor is also a devoted mother to her two sons, Riley and Barry. She welcomed Riley via C-section in February 2021 and celebrated Barry’s arrival in July 2023.

This isn’t the first time Meghan has discussed her body image; she courageously shared her journey of self-acceptance after becoming a mother. “I’m covered in scars and stretch marks in places I didn’t know stretch marks could appear,” she reflected, highlighting the reality of motherhood.

In a previous interview, she revealed how challenging it was to rebuild her confidence after Riley’s birth. Through therapy, she learned the importance of facing her insecurities head-on, stating, “My therapist suggested standing in front of the mirror naked for five minutes daily.” This practice, although daunting at first, helped her start appreciating her body anew, acknowledging the miracle of creating life.
