Your support changes lives.Lindsay Lohan’s father, Michael Lohan, has come to his daughter’s defense amidst swirling rumors about her appearance and plastic surgery.
The spotlight has been on the Mean Girls star since her return to the spotlight for the highly anticipated Freaky Friday sequel. After stepping away from Hollywood and moving to Dubai a decade ago to escape relentless paparazzi, Lohan’s transformation has sparked discussion.
“Lindsay has never had any surgery done,” the 64-year-old father asserted, emphasizing her natural beauty and talent. “She looks fantastic—just like she always has!”
However, Michael did acknowledge that Lohan has utilized treatments like chemical peels, Botox, and fillers, labeling those who spread “false narratives” about her looks as “disgusting.” On social media, fans have celebrated her “glow-up” by sharing side-by-side photos showcasing her evolution over the years.
Lohan, who faced significant battles with substance abuse in her twenties, was in and out of rehab multiple times. She fought to reclaim her life after a series of legal issues, spending 250 days in various facilities and facing jail time in 2010 for not adhering to alcohol counseling.
Ten years ago, she made the bold decision to leave Hollywood behind for London, eventually settling in Dubai, where she found love with her husband, Bader Shammas. The couple welcomed their son, Luai, in July 2023.
This year, Lohan opened up about her journey in an interview, revealing how stepping away from the limelight allowed her to heal mentally. “I felt overshadowed by paparazzi during my younger years, which was frustrating,” she shared. “I wanted to disappear from that chaos to focus on my work.”
Reflecting on her past relationships, she admitted, “I worried I might never find true love. It took prioritizing my own well-being for everything to fall into place.”
