Nikki Glaser Delays ‘Invasive’ Surgery to Shine at 2025 Golden Globes!
You won’t believe the exciting turn of events in the world of comedy! The incredibly talented Nikki Glaser is putting her potential plastic surgery plans on hold to step into the spotlight as the host of the 82nd annual Golden Globe Awards this January! Talk about a career boost!
In a lively chat on CBS Mornings, Nikki spilled the tea: she initially wanted to schedule a cosmetic procedure right around the same time as the Golden Globes. “I was seriously considering a brow lift or some other major surgery,” she shared, revealing just how close she came to going under the knife.
But then, fate intervened! After a phone call from her agents that had her buzzing with excitement, Nikki quickly reconsidered her plans for early January. “When it’s two of them calling, you know it’s big news,” she joked. They suggested she postpone the operation and focus on the monumental honor ahead.
“They said, ‘Could you push the surgery to maybe the second week of January?’” Glaser recalled, chuckling at the thought of how quickly her priorities shifted.
Announced back in August, Nikki will host the Golden Globes on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2025. “I am absolutely thrilled to be hosting the Golden Globes!” she exclaimed. “It’s one of my favorite nights of TV, and now I get a front-row seat — well, technically, I’ll be on stage hosting!”
With her signature wit, Glaser remarked, “The Golden Globes is not just a big night for film and TV; it’s a celebration of comedy! It’s one of those rare moments when the industry invites a little roasting. At least, I hope so!”

Just this past May, Nikki participated in the hilarious roast of Tom Brady, where she showcased her comedic chops alongside notable names like Kevin Hart and Kim Kardashian. Reflecting on that night, she humorously noted, “I have a feeling Gisele wasn’t thrilled with my jokes, but come on—she’s the hottest person ever; she can handle it!”
Among her many zingers, she quipped, “Tom Brady, five-time Super Bowl MVP with most career touchdowns—oh, and now he has eight rings thanks to Gisele giving hers back!”
Glaser also shared her inner thoughts about mentioning Gisele during the roast, “I did hesitate because she wasn’t there, and it felt a bit unfair. But then I thought, ‘She’s tough enough to handle it!’”
