Get ready, America! N-Dubz’s very own Tulisa Contostavlos, a former star of X Factor, is making waves as she sets off to Australia to join the adventure on I’m A Celebrity… alongside the fabulous Coleen Rooney, McFly’s Danny Jones, and Radio 1 DJ Dean McCullough. This is one celebrity reunion you won’t want to miss!
Before embarking on this thrilling journey, Tulisa had a candid chat with Loose Women star Olivia Attwood. In this exclusive interview, she opened up about her beauty journey, revealing the work she’s had done on her face over the years. It’s an intimate dive into the life of a superstar!
The Scoop on Tulisa’s Transformations
At the age of 36, Tulisa revealed in her chat with Olivia that she had never undergone “any surgery until recently,” only turning to fillers after facing health issues that left her face inflamed. “I hadn’t had any surgery until, confession time, recently,” she shared. “In the past, it was only fillers that I used.”
With heartfelt honesty, she recounted her challenging journey, starting with her first Bell’s palsy attack at just 24, which left her face unable to move for several months. “I had a massive burst of inflammation, and my whole face dropped,” she explained. “I just hid in the house during that time.” It’s a story of resilience and transformation!
“It was a stressful time,” she added, explaining how fillers became a “vicious cycle” as she sought to restore her facial symmetry.
Can Fillers Really Balance Your Face?
We spoke with an expert aesthetic doctor to get the inside scoop on fillers and their ability to restore facial symmetry. The verdict? They work wonders!
“Dermal facial fillers are a fantastic way to balance the face and achieve facial symmetry,” she confirmed. “Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers can restore volume, create contour, and bring balance to specific areas of the face, addressing 3D facial asymmetries effectively.”
“The key to achieving facial harmony lies in the technique,” she explained, emphasizing that micro-droplet injections can beautifully reshape the face for a natural look. So, it’s not a question of whether fillers are effective, but how they are applied!
Tulisa’s Battle with Bell’s Palsy
Following her initial Bell’s palsy attack, Tulisa enjoyed a period of respite before symptoms returned, which she described as “scary.” In response, she decided to dissolve her fillers due to the swelling and then reinjected them once the situation stabilized.

“This continued until this year,” Tulisa revealed, sharing that she experienced good days and bad days, sometimes needing steroids to manage the swelling. “In some interviews, I looked fine; in others, you’d wonder, ‘What’s going on with her face?'”
Earlier this year, during an exploratory operation, her doctor discovered three “chronically infected cysts” around her cheek, leaving them puzzled about the cause.
“Immediately after the operation, I noticed I was less swollen,” Tulisa shared, revealing that while inflammation still exists, it’s significantly reduced. With her doctor planning another operation in two months, she currently only has filler in her lips, which gives her a naturally plumped look.
